But First, Coffee

I get it, it's Monday. Sunday Funday is over and it's time to prepare for another week at the office. You think to yourself, it's Monday but coffee can handle it. You stop by your favorite coffee shop, grab your Venti Latte, and you're ready to conquer the day. Have you stopped to think how much you're spending on one cup of Joe? The average American spends $5 everyday on coffee- that's $1825 a year! Not to mention that blueberry muffin or scone that perfectly pairs with your drink. Now we're at $35 per work week or $7 day before lunch with coworkers or happy hour. As pleasing as your daily ritual is, your pocket is paying for it.

You can easily cut your coffee budget by trying one of our Savvy Saving Techniques.

-Grab coffee at the office...hello, it's FREE!

Spice up your coffee by bringing your own creamer to work. Add Pumpkin Spice Creamer to your grocery list for about $3. That's 30 cents per day for the next two weeks!!

-Bring K-Cups to the office and store them at your desk. A 36 count of K Cups is about $17. That's less than $2 a day!

-Head to your favorite coffee shop once a week and treat yourself. Celebrate the small victories of saving an average of $125 a month.

No matter what the week throws your way, enjoy your coffee and don't make your pocket pay!

Sincerely,

Tiara Davis, MBA
